Tree Adventures - team building activity Auckland

Nestled in the treetops of the beautiful Woodhill Forest, only a short drive from Auckland city, there is an adventure wonderland waiting to be conquered. An exciting outdoor activity that offers an experience unlike anything else. There are a variety of fun activities and courses spread over 7 acres, each ending with a swift flying fox back to earth, one of which is 150m long!

Upon arrival at the adventure park, you will be required to sign a risk acknowledgement and disclaimer before being fitted with safety equipment.

Once you’re geared up, you’ll be given a 15 minute safety briefing including a practice course to ensure you can use the equipment properly, the participants then advance along different obstacles - suspended bridges, flying foxes, monkey bridges etc building confidence along the way. Difficult areas (colour coded) can be avoided, thanks to escape routes.

If you’re a beginner or just not so keen on heights then don’t fear, the Monkey’n Around Courses offer a series of challenging and fun courses that will have you climbing from 2 to 5 metres above the ground and conquering a selection of exciting activities along the way. This is the perfect option for children or for adults looking to build their confidence on challenging activities without the heights.

For beginners to aspiring acrobats, the Branching Out course options are designed with activities ranging from 3 to 7 meters above the ground. You will ease your way on to the loose long boards, swinging plateaus and hanging X’s, and then the legendary giant vertical cable. Finish it all off Tarzan style on a number of rewarding flying foxes that will have you zipping through the treetops.

Everyone from confident beginners to hard-core adrenaline junkies will have a blast on these courses. Designed to be thrilling from the get go, this option will test your confidence and balance. Whether it’s surfing through the trees, wobbling across balance beams, or negotiating tricky obstacles, High Flyer will have you tackling the treetops at dizzying heights ranging from 4 to 14 meters.

The ultimate high ropes adventure! Tarzans Test is set at heights ranging from 5 to 14 meters above the ground and takes adventure in the treetops to a whole new level. In order to be king of the jungle you’ll have to tackle the Tarzan swing, jungle gym and the cannonball run.

See the forest in an original and unique way. Challenge your balance and confidence whilst enjoying the awesome activities. Suitable for novices through to hardened adrenalin junkies, thrills, laughter and adventure; it really is an unforgettable experience.

This experience can run rain or shine. The forest canopy provides fairly good shelter from light to moderate rain. We only reschedule in the case of lightning storms or unsafe weather conditions i.e heavy rain, wind.
