NZL 40 and NZL 41 are ex Americas Cup yachts that have retired to provide match racing experiences on Auckland Harbour. Split your staff into two teams and let them race off against one another. Now not only can you experience the excitment of sailing an America's Cup Yacht, you can participate in racing on one.

For the ultimate thrill join the crew in a match race, America’s Cup style! Your experience begins in the Viaduct Harbour where you will meet the crew and go through a short safety/race briefing. The yachts then depart the Viaduct Harbour and after a period of practice, the action really starts, when passengers take their positions, and we line up under international match racing pre-start conditions and compete head to head.

The America’s Cup is the world’s oldest and most prestigious sporting trophy and ultimate yachting regatta. Usually the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachties, Our America’s Cup yachts offer the unique opportunity for everyone to in participate sailing on these grand-prix racing machines.

During all of our sailings passengers are encouraged to get involved in sailing the yachts, take the helm get on the grinders or sit back relax and enjoy the ultimate sailing or exhilarating racing atmosphere. A truly fantastic day out on the water, no experience necessary.

This trip operates in open water and is weather dependent. Trips are cancelled on days when it would be unsafe or uncomfortable to travel, these will be rescheduled to another date that suits.

This event is suitable for groups of up to 60 people

Location: Auckland Viaduct.

Time required is normally 3 hours. This is normally run as an exclusive charter.
Smaller groups can be accommodated on shared sails, or on our smaller Pride of Auckland yachts

Price varies depending on variables of event (group size, number of boats etc.).
