Most people enjoy a wine tasting and for those who don't drink, the scenery in these locations is spectacular.

West Auckland Vineyard Tour

Small staff groups can experience the lap of luxury. Your chauffeur driven stretch limousine or coach (depending on group size) will collect you and take you for a wine tasting experience to remember.

The limousines are the most modern available in Auckland and come complete with stereo, moon roof, and bar facilities. The bar facilities include wine glasses and serviettes, you supply your own alcohol. Limousines seat six people in the back and one in the front. Coaches can be provided to suit your group size and are modern luxury coaches and mini buses.

The itinerary for this staff event can be flexible to meet your requirements. A four hour timeframe would allow tasting at 3 - 4 vineyards and can include hors-d’oeuvres. A route often followed could take you to Collards and Pleasant Valley Vineyards, Soljan’s, Delegat’s, Corban’s in Henderson, or you could plan to go to fewer vineyards a little further out of town such as Riverhead Estate in Riverhead and a selection of vineyards at Waimauku. Pleasant Valley has a café and band on a Sunday. You could incorporate a picnic and visit to the gannet colony at Muriwai if you wish.

Matakana Region Wine Tasting Tour

Travel out of the city in the spacious comfort of a climate controlled, customized coach for a full day of fantastic NZ wine, food and stunning coastal scenery. Journey through green rolling farmland and countryside, to visit three premium wineries in the picturesque Matakana wine region, and taste their best wines. Comprehensive tasting notes on all wines are provided for your convenience, and a light commentary is provided.

Break the journey north with famous Puhoi Cheese tasting and morning tea & coffee. Relax over a leisurely superb ‘open menu’ restaurant lunch with fine wines, desserts, and coffee & tea. After lunch, enjoy a visit to the renowned Morris & James ceramics workshop or the honey centre.

The tour runs from 9.30 am till 4 pm.

Waiheke Island Explorer & Vineyard Tour

This tour enables you to soak up the delights of Waiheke, the magical island paradise.

Relax and enjoy a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland, departing at a time to suit. Waiheke is rapidly becoming a world class producer of Bordeaux-style wines. On joining this tour you will enjoy a commentated scenic highlights tour of the Island and visit up to three highly acclaimed vineyards for wine tasting and an explanation of wine producing techniques used in the vineyards.

The tour can include a stop at Onetangi, where you can stroll along the beach or buy a light lunch at Onetangi Yacht Club. Unspoiled beaches surround the island while inland are pockets of native bush, farmland and of course vineyards. Waiheke is the home of many of New Zealand’s notable artists, craftsmen and writers, so a stroll through the shops and markets of Oneroa Village is well worth while, or alternatively, sit down and relax at one of the bars or cafes basking in the tranquility of this charming place.

A visit to an olive farm and press plus olive oil tasting can also feature in the itinerary if you wish as Waiheke is growing in stature as a producer of fine olive oils.

Price will vary depending on itinerary and meal requirements but typically will be about $98 plus GST per person without lunch.
