Harbour Sail on an America's Cup Yacht - Staff Event Auckland NZ

A unique opportunity to participate as crew on an actual America’s Cup yacht.

The America’s Cup is the world’s oldest and most prestigious sporting trophy and ultimate yachting regatta. Usually the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachties, NZL 40 and NZL 41 offer the unique opportunity for everyone to participate sailing on these grand prix racing machines.

Your two hour sailing experience starts in the Viaduct Harbour where you meet the professional crew and are taken through a short safety briefing. The yacht then heads out to the harbour. The sails are hoisted and your staff become the crew, encouraged to take the helm, exert energy on the grinders or simply sit back and enjoy the action as you sail an America's cup yacht down the beautiful Auckland Harbour.

This is a great event for staff particularly for diverse groups. Those who like to be active and involved, can fully participate to the extent they wish and those who don't can sit back and relax while they enjoy the thrill of being on a real Americas Cup boat! A truly fantastic day out on the water, no experience necessary.

This trip operates in open water and is weather dependent. Trips are cancelled on days when it would be unsafe or uncomfortable to travel, these will be rescheduled to another date that suits.

This event is suitable for groups of up to 60 people

Location: Auckland Viaduct.

Time required is normally 2 hours. This is normally run as an exclusive charter of one boat for a maximum of 30 people or 2 boats for up to 60 people.
Smaller groups can be accommodated on shared sails, or on our smaller Pride of Auckland yachts

Price varies depending on variables of event (group size, number of boats etc.).

Catering and beverage packages, merchandise, flags sailed behind the yachts with company branding.
