One Day Paragliding Introduction - Auckland

Paragliding is playing with wind, lift and thermals where you are in control. Wow - what a sensation! Paragliders are the modern day version of a hang glider that you see hovering around cliffs and hill sides like a large bird.

During the one day course you and your clients will learn the basics of flying, such as starting, controlling and landing. By the end of the day, depending on conditions, you will have the opportunity for flights from the top of the practice hill or coast or maybe a tandem flight.

The instructor team is the most experienced in NZ. They are internationally qualified and experienced. They all regularly run advanced courses overseas and fly successfully at international competitions all around the world.

This event is weather dependant soalert your clients to this and pencil in some back-up dates so you can reschedule if the wind conditions are not suitable. It is better to plan this event away from the windy periods of the year.

Location will depend on the wind conditions on the day and will be confirmed in the morning of your event:
Karioitahi Beach - About 45 mins drive from Downtown Auckland (the most used location)
Muriwai Beach - About 35-40 mins from Downtown Auckland
Dills Hill - About 50 mins from Auckland
Clevedon Training Hill - About 45 mins from Downtown Auckland

This event is suitable for small client groups of up to about 6 people.

Flying locations for all paragliding vary a little depending on the weather conditions on a particular day.
