Beautiful things are so simple, like the principle of a hot air balloon. Heated air inside the balloon is lighter than the air outside, so therefore the balloon lifts up, very gently. Your ears won't even pop. Once up in the air above Hamilton you will be overwhelmed with the thirst of adventure and unlimited freedom. The hot air moves as fast as the wind blows, therefore it's comfortably calm in the basket. Afterwards the participants in this activity will be treated to a special ballooning tradition of bubbly and snacks.

Ballooning has an early start ie generally at sunrise so if you are bringing clients from Auckland, it would pay to consider an overnight stay in Hamilton.

Thios is a special event that your clients will all appreciate, but the price may mean it is more suited to your best clients especially if accommodation and meals are taken into account.

Christchurch
You will meet at dawn when air conditions are clear calm cool and stable and be driven by 4-wheel drive vehicle to the launch site. Once the balloon is inflated, you will board the wicker basket and your magical flight begins. The peace and gentleness of ballooning will surprise you and Methven panoramic views of the entire 300kms of the Canterbury Plains plus Mt Cook and the National Park mountains by Mt Hutt are unsurpassable. All too soon it is time to land. The successful completion of the flight is celebrated with a champagne style buffet breakfast as a picnic in the field generally served by a suitably attired waiter with a silver tray. You and your clients will also receive a flight certificate.
